Rent a Ferrari

Rent a Ferrari for a day, or a week, or a month, it will never be enough. The name Ferrari suggests speed, glamour and luxury. Whenever we think of the higher end of motoring we think of Ferraris. Whether they are racing Ferraris, coloured blood red and burning up the great courses of the world, or super car Ferraris, sleek, exotic, beautiful with mind-bending performance, or road car Ferraris, which we can aspire to own only if we become very rich, there is no doubt that the Ferraris are the epitome of automotive chic. Ferraris have been around for a long time now, but their name has never lost its capacity to thrill, delight and inspire.
The father of the Ferraris, Enzo Ferrari, created the business in 1929, so Ferraris have been with us now for over eighty years. At first Ferrari was not interested in producing road car Ferraris his interest was always primarily in racing. But in 1947 he produced the first of the road car Ferraris, the 125 S. The production of the road car Ferraris was, for Enzo Ferrari, merely a means of financing his stable of racing Ferraris. In 1949 the first of the Grand Touring Ferraris appeared, the Ferrari 166 Inter. Ever since then Grand Touring Ferraris have made up the bulk of the company’s worldwide sales. These early Grand Touring Ferraris were luxurious vehicles indeed, some of them boasting customised coachwork built by famous Italian coachbuilders. The Ferrari Dino was the first of the mid-engine Ferraris, a type that would become increasingly popular in the 1980s and 1990s. The Berlinetta Boxer of 1973 was the first of the mid-engine 12-cylinder Ferraris but it did acquire the lasting fame of the later Ferrari Testarossa, which remains one of the best known of the Ferraris.
The supercar Ferraris first appeared in 1962 with the 250 GTO and the line of supercar Ferraris continues down to this day. Famous supercar Ferraris include the FXX and the Enzo, named in honour of the company’s founder. There have also been concept-car Ferraris, such as the Ferrari Mythos, the Ferrari Modulo and the Ferrari Millechilli.
As we noted earlier, the racing Ferraris were always the first love of Enzo Ferrari, who designed his first car in 1940. Ferraris have appeared in every season of the Formula One World Championship since it started back in 1950, a track record better than any of its competitors. The Ferraris scored their first Formula One Success in 1951 and their first drivers’ championship the next year. Since then Ferraris have won 15 World Drivers’ Championships, 16 World Constructors’ Championships as well as 209 Grand Prix, 622 Podium finishes, 218 fastest laps and 203 pole positions. It hasn’t just been the Formula One Championships where the Ferraris have excelled. A 166M won at Le Mans in 1949 and the team established dominance in the early years of the World Sports car Championship, winning seven out of the first nine events held. On the road, on the race track, in road cars, sports cars, touring cars, race cars and supercars, the Ferraris have established a reputation that is second to none.
