Los Angeles is an amazing city and there are a ton of things to see and do when you visit. With so much going on, you really have to plan your schedule carefully and prioritize what you want to see. If you are going to be making a trip to Los Angeles, read on to learn about some of the most interesting landmarks that you won't want to miss.

The Hollywood Sign is one of the most obvious Los Angeles landmarks. If you can handle the hike, you are going to want to make the journey to the back of the letters where you can take a picture of yourself against the endless blue skies of Los Angeles. Your best bet is to take the Mt. Hollywood Trail up to the sign.

Universal Studios is another landmark that you won't want to skip. This iconic theme park has tons of ride and attractions that are based on Hollywood movies and it is also a movie production studio. You can tour some of the famous movie sets and then spend hours having fun on the rides.

Griffith Park is a famous Los Angeles park that has an observatory and a planetarium. It also houses the Los Angeles Zoo. There are plenty of hiking trails and you can also drive through the mountains for some amazing views.

No trip to Los Angeles is complete without a visit to Disneyland. Everyone who visits Los Angeles should really visit Disneyland. These elaborate and magical rides make even the most hardened adult feel like a kid again.

Nothing is more fun than going to Disneyland and there is so much to do that you could end up spending an entire week there.

Make sure to visit Hollywood when you go to Los Angeles as well. The Walk of Fame is a must see where you can look at the names of the stars in the sidewalk. You can also walk down Hollywood Boulevard and do some shopping or eating. Hollywood is just a fun place to hang out and you will want to see it for yourself when you go to Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is home to some amazing museums and the Getty Center is one of the most interesting ones of all. It is huge and sits on 110 acres. The grounds are gorgeous and you will find a huge collection of European art and photography. Be prepared to spend hours here because it is so huge.

Santa Monica is a fun place to visit. The Santa Monica Pier is world famous and there are a variety of attractions and places to shop and eat. You will find the freshest seafood and the beach is a great place to relax and enjoy the sun. The waterfront is a great place to do some people watching.

Los Angeles has so much to offer and it offers a truly a unique experience when you visit. It is a place you will want to visit again and again.
