The Range Rover is a luxurious vehicle indeed. I always said that when I get my next vehicle, I'm going to get an '88 or '89 Ford Bronco because it's a great beach vehicle. Well, let's just say I am currently single. If I were to start a family, and have the money, the Range Rover would be the perfect vehicle. And it just so happens that the first year they were made was around that same time. Of course, I would want a new one.

That's right, Land Rover has been making Range Rover for 30 years. That's just in the US because when it comes to Europe, the company has been putting out vehicles for 45 years. Do they make any other vehicles besides the Range Rover? While these are very popular automobiles, most people wouldn't be able to tell you if they make anything else. And, most people wouldn't be able to tell you if Land Rover is the parent company or if another major automaker owns them.

For example, when it comes to Acura vehicles, they are a luxury Honda brand. Are you ready for this? There are three parent organizations when it comes to Land Rover and its Range Rover automobiles. You almost have to expect that in this day and age in regards to big business. One of them is Tata Motors, one is Land Rover Holdings, but it was the third one that surprised me. The third one is Jaguar.

That actually makes sense because in regards to styles, Jaguar and Land Rover certainly have something in common. Their vehicles aren't necessarily the most sporty because they are all about luxury and prestige. Make no mistake about it though, there are some sporty features to each of those automobiles. It's just they aren't judged or viewed that way by the general public. Other luxury brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini are viewed that way.

It's much better when you find a vehicle that says it all. A Ferrari does not say it all. It is a sports car that mostly young or middle aged men want to get their hands on to drive around and live the high life. That's great and all, but everyone can pile into the Range Rover and go on a luxurious excursion in style. You see, to me, a luxurious vehicle like the Range Rover makes a vehicle that is so one sided like the Ferrari look almost pathetic.

No, Ferrari isn't pathetic. I'm simply making a point that I would prefer a more prestigious automobile that represents the type of vehicle that an accomplished professional that has a family would drive. Do you agree? If so, you will like the fact that while they are not cheap by any means, sticker prices don't begin in the same range as Ferraris. Think Jaguar, even Porsche, and then you have a ballpark idea of what you're going to pay. It would be well worth it if you want a nice automobile for your family, even though vehicles are truly expensive these days across the board.
